Victim Witness

Counseling Solutions provides therapeutic services to victims of crime.  If you have been a victim of a crime of violence and need assistance, your first step is to get in touch with the Butte County Victim Witness Program (530-538-7340) and talk with a Victim Advocate who will speak with you and determine how to best assist you.  They will conduct an assessment of the immediate and long-term needs of the victim.  Victim Witness services are provided free of charge and there is no legal residency or citizenship requirements.

The Victim Witness Program provides an array of services to the victim and others who were impacted by the crime and Counseling Solutions specifically serves victims and is a resource for trauma Counseling.  To view Victims’ Rights in California, mandatory services and optional services, please visit their website
